Terms of Service

By accessing or using BonVerify (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), which form a binding agreement between you ("you" or the "User") and BonVerify, Inc. ("BonVerify", "we", "us" or "our"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.

By creating an account you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you may bind that organization to these Terms.

BonVerify is a contact-data verification service that checks whether an email address is capable of receiving mail, and reports the reason for each result. The Service includes:

• Syntax, domain and mail-exchanger resolution
• A live SMTP mailbox probe that never delivers a message
• Detection of catch-all domains, role accounts, disposable providers and known traps
• Batch verification, a single-address API, and scheduled re-verification

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect your use of the Service.

You are responsible for the credentials to your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to:

• Provide accurate account and billing information
• Keep your password confidential and enable available security controls
• Notify us promptly at security@bonverify.com of any unauthorized access

We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized use of your account that results from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload or share content you do not have the right to share
• Distribute malware, or attempt to breach or probe our security
• Send unsolicited bulk email, spam or unlawful communications
• Infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights of others
• Reverse-engineer, resell or overload the Service or its infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate access that we reasonably believe violates this section, with or without notice depending on the severity.

When you create an account you consent to receive email from BonVerify. Our messages fall into two categories:

• Transactional — email verification, password and account updates, security alerts, and document-activity notifications (for example, when a recipient opens or downloads a file you shared). These are required to operate the Service and are sent as the related events occur.
• Marketing and product updates — occasional news, tips and offers, sent only if you opt in. Frequency is limited, typically no more than a few messages per month.

Unsubscribe and help. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time at bonverify.com/unsubscribe. Essential transactional emails cannot be unsubscribed while your account is active, as they are required to run the Service. You are responsible for keeping recipient addresses accurate and for complying with applicable anti-spam laws when you share files with others.

You retain all rights to the files and data you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process and transmit Your Content solely to operate and secure the Service. Because files are encrypted, we cannot access their plaintext contents and do not use them for any other purpose.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal. Failure to pay may result in suspension of the Service.

The Service, including its software, design and trademarks, is owned by BonVerify and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property other than the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BonVerify will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we will delete or return Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention obligations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except that either party may seek relief in small-claims court where eligible.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
