Privacy Policy

BonVerify, Inc. ("BonVerify", "we", "us") provides a contact-data verification service. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you visit our site, create an account or use the Service. The contact records you upload are processed to answer your verification run and for no other purpose — they are never sold, appended to, or added to a shared pool.

• Account information — name, work email and password hash you provide when signing up.
• Usage data — records of runs, uploads and exports, including timestamp, IP address and device information, used to secure the account and to bill for verdicts returned.
• Uploaded contact records — the addresses you submit for verification, and the verdict and reason returned for each. These are retained only for the window you set on the list, and are removed from primary storage and backups on the same clock.
• Support and contact — information you send us through contact forms or email.

We send transactional email that is necessary to operate the Service. Any marketing email is sent only to users who opted in or have an existing business relationship, and every such message includes a one-click unsubscribe. We regularly clean our lists to remove invalid or bounced addresses and honor opt-out requests promptly.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, email delivery) under contracts that require them to protect it
• With the integrations you connect, and only as directed by you
• When required by law, subpoena or to protect rights and safety
• In connection with a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy

We apply encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and continuous monitoring. Uploaded contact records are isolated per account and purged on the retention window you set, so the data most worth protecting is the data we hold for the shortest time. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard safeguards.

We keep account and audit data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. You can delete shared files at any time; when you close your account we delete or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@bonverify.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings.

We may process information in countries other than your own. Where we do, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information consistent with this policy.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
